The November meeting was held
on the 15th at Henderson City Hall. Mr. Rich Okulski from the
National Weather Service conducted the annual Skywarn Training for area
hams, volunteer firemen and interested citizens of Henderson and Chester
County. We had 17 in attendance. It is very important to have this
training so that we are up to date with the latest technology and
terminology that the National Weather service uses in the event of
hazardous weather.
The plans for the Christmas
party were also discussed.
Here is what we have come up with so far:
The date is December 20, 2007 at
6:00 at the Pinson Church of Christ Building on Hwy 45 in Pinson TN.
(Entrance near the rear of the building.)
The club will furnish two kinds of meat: Ham and either turkey or
chicken and everyone pitches in with potluck.
Those hams in attendance put
down the following as what they would commit to bring:
Martha and Richard England
(coffee and Vegetable Casserole)
Dan Crump (Dressing)
Gary Roeder (Cole Slaw)
James Webb (a dessert)
Barry Smith (Baked Beans)
Mike and Louise Burkhead (Green Bean Casserole and a dessert and 2- 2
liter drinks)
Joe and Sue Loucka (AuGratin Potatoes)
We also agreed that Mickey would
bring Rolls and napkins and Thad Williams should bring Pecan Pie(s).
The club has plenty of eating
utensils, cups and plates left from previous events.
We could use the following items
or if you would like to bring something else, please speak up.
Corn or other vegetable dish
Cranberry Sauce
Tea or soft drink
Another dessert
If you know of someone that is
not on the email listserv; please be sure and contact them on the date,
time and place.
