Attention all Registered Chester County ARES Members:

 

I just received an advanced notification that TEMA will be arranging
temporary shelters for hurricane evacuees from the Gulf Coast.  The
primary location is at the National Guard Training Center in Levinia, TN
(Just north of Jackson).

 

There are plans to stand up overflow locations in surrounding counties
should it become necessary.  Chester County has been asked to provide
assistance/shelter/communications if necessary.  If overflow is
required, evacuees will be sheltered in facilities in and around
Henderson.  If this occurs Chester County ARES will be activated to
provide communication from the shelter locations to Mike at the EOC.

 

Again, this is only a "heads up" as to what might occur.  I will pass
along additional information as it comes in.  Please check your e-mail
often over the weekend and monitor the repeater if you are
mobile/portable away from home.
