11:00am until 3:00pm out a Chickasaw.

Bagels and Bluegrass Event All-Call

 

As we have done for several years, WTARS will provide communication
services for the 2008 Bagels and Bluegrass Bicycle Event.

 

The event is Saturday October 4th, 2008.  Start and Finish will be at
Jackson State Community College.  For those who will transport SAG
supplies, 6:00 am will be the time you need to be at JSCC.  Race begins
at 8:00 am sharp.  The day should end for all about 4:00 pm (sooner for
some if we have enough to man all communication posts)

 

We are in the process of pre-assigning communication posts along the
various routes.  We need to know how many Ham Radio Operators are
planning to participate so our planning can proceed.  This may also save
a trip into town for some of you if we can assign you position in
advance and you can deploy directly to your duty station and check in
with NCS upon arrival.

 

Please respond to this email with your confirmation that you will be
able to help with this event.  When assignments have been finalized, you
will be notified of your duty station and we can then determine if you
need to report to JCSS or deploy directly to you post.

 

Please respond as soon as you can.
